Workshop boxes

This morning's workshop went well, despite the awful weather. The snow is melting now :-)

We made gift boxes using an Eaziscore board, decorated with little flowers made by embossing the flower shape on the board, and doodling to make the petals stand out. Then the petals were curved round a pen to make them 3D, and attached to the boxes. The tricky part was embossing the flowers, it's not easy to follow the shape on the board, it is easier with thinner card I think...

Triangle card...Polka doodle challenge entry

As promised, here's a pic of a triangle card I made for a friend's birthday...she may see ift here before getting it (if so Happy Birthday P!). I've decide to enter a blog challenge with it...the Polka doodle challenge is for a "shaped card". So here's my entry:
The patterned paper is from papermania, and all the stamps are from PartiCraft. The butterflies are stamped in black archival ink and embossed with clear embossing powder, then painted with cosmic shimmer watercolours. The other stamped images are stamped with Distress ink (Shabby Shutters). Love to have your comments...

Valentine's Craft Fair....

Here are a few of the Notebooks I decorated to sell at the craft fair I went to on Saturday...

This is the table set out with my cards, notebooks nd PartiCraft stock:

And this is me behind the table. I had my distress inks ready to do some demo's...but there were less than 10 customers altogether, so I had a very quiet day!

It was very small event, with only 3 tables...and local advertising on our estate. It was a very disappointing day for the organisers. I sold enough to cover the cost of the table...
hopefully next time will be better,
all for now

A few cards...

Here's a pic of a birthday card I made last week for a friend, using the A5 Monkey stamp set from Particraft. I stamped the sentiment across the card in black and embossed it with clear embossing powder. Then I distressed it with Pine Needles and Black Soot Distress inks. The monkey was painted with adirondack pens.

I also made 2 baby cards, using the A5 Bears and Butterfly1 stamp sets from PartiCraft.

Here's a pic of a gift box I made using my Eaziscore board, and a Birthday card. Some of these will be for sale at the craft fair on Sat 13th.

I had another new person at last week's workshop, so there's only room for one more now!
This week is the last week of Block 1. Block 2 starts after the half-term weekend, on Friday 19th Feb. Contact me for more details.
I'm full of the cold today, so too tired to write much,
