Dedication cards

Hi,

I did say I'd made some dedication cards, so here they are. It's taken me longer than I expected to put them up - had a difficult time the last couple of weeks.

It's difficult to find dedication cards in the shops, so I have made some to sell in our church gift shop.

The images were all stamped with black archival ink, and painted with distress ink and adirondack pens.  the colour on the baby vest was rubbed on with cut'n'dry foam.
I used the text from Particraft's religious range of stamps.
Hope you like them!
If you'd like to buy one, they are available at Cornerstone  House, Cumbernauld.

Decorated box

Hi,
I have at long last had a little time for crafting. I had a go at using Decopatch paper (the red and black patterned paper) and glue to decorate this box.  I also used some Laura Ashley paper (the pale green one with foliage).
I used ribbon inside the lid to make the edges look neater.

I cut out circles with a circle punch, cut them in half and placed them just under the circle of Laura Ashley paper on the lid of the box, to give it scalloped border.

I've also made some dedication cards, so I'll put up some pics of those later on.

Announcement

Hi All,

Just a quick note to let you know I have decided to leave PartiCraft, due to work and family commitments.

So, I'm no longer available for parties of craft workshops.

When I do get time for crafting I'll try and post up some pics on here...

Happy New Year!

Bit late now but Happy New Year to you all, I hope you have all had a good Christmas.
We enjoyed spending Christmas with family.
I am back at work now, my temp contract is going on for a few more weeks  :-)
I won't be starting running any workshops at the moment.

Have you seen the new free gift from PartiCraft?  Here's a pic.

It looks like a great set of stamps for Birthdays. It can be yours for free if you host a party. Contact me if you are interested. Use the email link on the sidebar, or leave me a comment.

Bye for now

Christmas cards

Hi, I'm still working so haven't had much time for crafting this week.  I've made some Christmas cards for folk who ordered them though:
What do you think?  I used the Light of the World A5 stamp set from PartiCraft, and cosmic shimmer embossing powder (festive set), also from PartiCraft.  I really like this set of embossing powders, they include several sparkle colours, and are really effective on black or white card.
bye for now

Cornerstone Art Group

Hi, just a quick post to show you some pics from 3 workshops I ran for the Cornerstone Art Group which has recently started up. I was asked to run a few sessions for them, so I was pleased. I taught the group how to make gift boxes with an Eaziscore board, grungeboard bookmarks and bracelets (inspired by the ones I saw Sheena Douglass making on TV last year) and Christmas cards with the Light of the World stamp set from PartiCraft.

I really enjoyed working with the group, and they all did brilliantly - well done!

Christmas decoration workshop

Hi all! Well this week has been busy - my first week in a full-time job for 6 years! It's a temp. job so it'll maybe only last a few weeks, and I'm enjoying it so far.I've not had time for crafting, or blogging though, so here's some pics from the last workshop I did, on 12th November, and some pics of the various stages of the sample decoration I made before the workshop:

The circles were stamped and embossed with white embossing powder on black card, and painted with cosmic shimmer watercolours.  You need 20 circles to make one decoration. PartiCraft have a whole range of different designs. Click here to see them.

I didn't get pics of the later stages in the workshop - we were too busy trying to finish them!  The ladies used different colours of embossing powders, and made lovely decorations. I missed running the workshop this week, hope you are all able to do some crafting at home instead!
